  38. I don't know of any program to automatically combine them.  The 
  39. images in a RGB triplet are not aligned geometrically so you
  40. can't just combine the three images with one image per color
  41. plane.  You have to adjust the position of each until they align.

  43. Magellan's images are SAR based, and therefore monochrome.
  44. I'm not sure about MO.  I think it will produce color images,
  45. but my references are at home.

  65. Probably not, it's moving *extremely* fast.  Also, we know exactly
  66. what's wrong with the antenna, just not exactly how to fix it.

  68. From what I understand, the folks at JPL plan to take another stab at
  69. freeing the stuck ribs after the Earth encounter.  Then the spacecraft
  70. will be warmer than it's been since the near Sun encounter.  Hopefully
  71. that will affect the antenna enough for the motors to work.
